WE LOVE MAPPING WITH DYNAMIC LAYERS AND MUCH MORE

A great cartography tool allows you to tell your location story vividly, with interactivity, ease of manoeuvrability and great visual displays. To get data scientists and analysts to their core function of drawing insights from data, a robust and efficient tool is always recommended. Geospatial intelligence experts will tell you that they can’t always find everything they need in one place but they wish they could easily synchronise all their workspace for quick and easy analysis. This is one of the powers of ARLASⓇ frameworks.

ARLAS also has other great functions. If you have been using it lately, you’ve probably noticed how easy it is to explore and analyse your data through different analytics widgets (histograms, doughnuts, bar charts) These are organised into tabs to match the synthesis of your data.In this boat's AIS data, for example, all the analysis related to the boats' courses: position and duration of arrivals, departures data is under Course tab.

With a simple click, you are able to get insights from it.

ORGANISING YOUR DATA IN TABS

In this demo of birds migrations, because we were interested in Migration status of some storks (travelling, or local movements), we created a Behaviour tab capturing this data.

As we all know, a cartographic image may be destroyed or built by its legend.A legend helps you to speak visually in a common language with your audience. That’s why, with arlas’s table of contents, you can very easily select which layers to look at and then, each layer comes with a corresponding legend. You can even select multiple layers at the same time, which is of great use for convergent cross-mapping.

LEGENDS AND LAYERS

`What’s more, ARLAS gives you a faster render of your data directly on a map as we built it to quickly and easily take on millions of data points. If you want to get started, we invite you to visit our demo portal and get a real feel of how you can use it.Don’t hesitate to let us know how you are already using ARLAS, and to share your favourite features and wishlist (we may not deliver it right away but will definitely consider it.)Watch out for news on ARLAS coming soon. It only gets better.
